Join us for an evening of education and awareness as we tackle the pressing issue of Golden Clams and their threat to our waterways with Peter Wilton from DOC

Did You Know?

Golden Clams are invasive species that can rapidly reproduce, outcompeting native species for food and habitat.

These clams can filter up to 15 liters of water per day, altering the ecosystem balance and affecting water quality.
Golden Clams have the potential to clog irrigation systems, block power stations, impacting agriculture and water infrastructure – resulting in increased infrastructure costs and ultimately higher energy costs to the consumer.
